Business Rates Appeals

Advice on how business rates are calculated, how much you should be paying and professional support with lodging an appeal.

Contract Farming

Negotiation and preparation of terms for contract farming agreements including valuations of growing crops and inputs.

Dilapidations Schedules

Preparation of final and interim dilapidations claims under both the Landlord and Tenant Act 1995 and the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. We also deal with dilapidations claims on residential and commercial premises under the various acts.

Farm Business Tenancies

Advice on suitable terms for letting land under the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 and preparation of the notices and agreements required. We can provide a full management service or just deal with the letting arrangements on your behalf.

Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies

The legislation is long and convoluted but we can offer you accurate, concise and simple advice in regards to any matter surrounding the various Agricultural Holdings Act legislations.

Through the preparation of forestry appraisals we can assess potential yields and future earning potential, advise on thinning and felling operations and marketing of timber and by-products.

Extensive experience in but not limited to Redundant Buildings Grants, capital grants under Environmental Stewardship schemes and Heritage Lottery Funding.

Insurance

The management of insurance claims on your behalf, to include obtaining quotations for repairs, liaising with loss adjustors and negotiating a suitable settlement. By having access to building cost data we can advise you on rebuild costs to ensure that your assets are fully covered. Many insurance policies will cover Agents' fees.

Landlord and Tenant

Practical advice on how to resolve disagreements between landlords and tenants in the rural, commercial and residential sectors, either during the term of a tenancy or at the end.

Rent Reviews

We can undertake all types of rent review to include residential reviews under the Rent Act 1977 and Housing Act 1988, commercial reviews and agricultural rent reviews under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995.

Grazing Licences

An ideal agreement for those landowners who need someone to graze or mow their fields for them but still want to maintain access to the land. We can advertise for a licensee, create the agreement and collect the fee
